Seller Tools
Free tools for the parts of selling on eBay that are easy to get wrong and expensive to leave alone. No sign up, no email wall. They run in your browser on numbers you enter.
eBay Restriction Identifier
eBay does at least eight different things to an account and each needs a different answer. Six questions to work out which one you are looking at, before you write anything to eBay.
Open the tooleBay Profit Calculator
Work out what a sale actually leaves you after eBay fees, ad spend, postage and cost of goods. Includes your break-even price and break-even ad rate.
Open the tooleBay ROI Calculator
Work out the return on money you put into stock, not the profit on one sale. Handles the whole lot, the units that never sell, and what the return is worth once you count how long your cash was tied up.
Open the tooleBay Seller Level Calculator
Work out the seller level eBay will give you at the next evaluation, and the number the dashboard never shows: how many more cases or defects you can absorb before you drop.
Open the tooleBay Promoted Listings Calculator
Compare eBay's two ad strategies on what each costs per sale, and find the ad rate above which a promoted sale stops making money. Includes the conversion rate where paying per click becomes cheaper.
Open the tooleBay Listing Title Analyser
Paste a title and see it checked against the rules eBay publishes, with the wording behind every finding. Covers the 80 character budget, banned punctuation, comparisons and compatibility wording.
Open the toolMore are in the works, including a defect and late shipment removal eligibility checker and a Top-rated seller standards checker. If there is a calculation you keep doing by hand, tell us and we will look at building it.
Tools you can check our working on
A tool that quietly gives you a wrong number is worse than no tool, so these are built to be auditable.
Your numbers stay in your browser
The calculations run on the page. Nothing is transmitted, stored or emailed unless you decide to send it to us yourself.
Every rate is dated and sourced
Where a tool uses an eBay rate, the page prints the date we last checked it and links to the eBay page we read it from. If it goes overdue, the tool says so rather than hiding it.
The maths is written down
Each tool explains how it reaches its answer, so you can check it against your own eBay invoice instead of taking our word for it.
Your figures always win
Anything we prefill is editable. If your account is charged differently from the published rate, type in what you are actually charged and the result follows.
A number is a diagnosis.
We do the treatment.
Tell us what the tools told you and we will come back with what we would change on the account.
